About
I am a contemporary jeweller. I have years of experience in various
areas within the jewellery trade. I trained in and started my working
life in the famous Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. working at the bench as a diamond mounter alongside highly skilled colleges who generously passed on their accumulated knowledge. Later I continued to develop skills beyond the traditional work bench. After relocating to Scotland I studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD) B. Des Honours, Jewellery and metal work design. I continue to make individual pieces of jewellery using traditional methods and combining newly learnt techniques.
I use various materials both precious and semi-precious in my work. I enjoy mixing unexpected elements to create one off individual wearable pieces.
I also work in and am interested all areas of jewellery including; repair, remodelling and commissions.
